For the seventh year COFACE is organizing its significant annual event in the Czech Republic, Country Risk Conference 2017 in Hotel Jalta on May 24th 2017 from 12:15.

 

Concept of Country Risk Conferences organizes COFACE annually in individual countries with COFACE offices presence and in the Czech Republic we are happy to announce already the 7th edition.

 

This important meeting of COFACE regional representatives, top management and owners of leading businesses in Czech Republic and experts on presented topics. The importance of this event is constantly growing and retains its prestige.

Grzegorz Sielewicz
Grzegorz Sielewicz

Grzegorz Sielewicz is the Coface’s economist covering the Central and Eastern Europe region. He is within the Group’s economic research department and focuses on macro- and micro- analyses in the region providing support in assessing the overall risks of companies. He prepares local studies (Panoramas) dedicated to economic topics, company defaults and sector analysis.

Before joining Coface, Grzegorz Sielewicz was the chief specialist in the Polish Ministry of Finance responsible for issuing State Treasury’s foreign bonds, research analyses covering economic picture and capital markets situation, preparing regular market updates of data and information related to the debt market. He gained experience also at the UniCredit’s Brokerage House and Deutsche Bank.

Grzegorz Sielewicz graduated the Warsaw School of Economics and he is an alumnus of the Krannert School of Management programme at the Purdue University in Indiana, USA.

Lukáš Kovanda, Ph.D. is Chief economist at CYRRUS. He lectures at the Faculty of Economics, University of Economics in Prague and is a board member of the Institute of Economic Education.

Robin Bay, Sales Engineer

Graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. He lead trainings of firewall security for British Telecom
at the world's largest authorized manufacturer's training center or Ethical Hacking in Czech republic. After 17 years exerience as security consultant he is now working as a Security Engineer at Trend Micro where he primarily focuses on data center and cloud security.

 

 

 

 

 

Eduard Pavlar
Eduard Pavlar

Eduard Pavlar is one of the key PwC CZ experts on fields of GDPR. He also covers expertise related to Data Leakage, infrastructure security and security audit. He has long term experience with cyber entities, and authentication and authorisation methods. Since 2001, Eduard focuses on information and technological security; such as design of transaction systems and security, PKI infrastructure, and long-term archive systems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vladimír Dlouhý
Vladimír Dlouhý

From 1989 to 1992 he was Minister of Economy of ČSFR. From 1992 to 1997 he served as Minister of Industry and Trade. Since September 1997 he has worked as an international adviser to Goldman Sachs investment bank, with a short break in 2012, when he stood as a candidate for President of the Czech Republic. Since 2000 Mr. Dlouhy is an external lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles Unversity in Prague. In between years 2006 and 2008 he was a member of an independent expert committee to assess the energy needs of the Czech Republic (Pačes Commission) in the period from 2009 to 2013 of the National Economic Council (NERV). Between 2010 and 2012 he was a member of the European Advisory Group Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.

 

 

 

 

Ivan Langer
Ivan Langer

MUDr. Mgr. Ivan Langer was born in 1967. In 1993 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Palacký University in Olomouc and in 1998 from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague.
Between 1996 and 2010 he was a Member of Parliament of the Chamber of Deputies
of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, member of the Defense and Security Committee and member of the Commission for the control of the activities of the Security Information Service. As the Chairman of the Standing Media Commission he dealt with the issue of media law.
Between 2006 and 2009 Ivan Langer was a Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic (between 2006 and 2007 he was also the Minister of Informatics of the Czech Republic). As a Minister of the Interior he carried out large projects in the field of internal security, public administration and e-government: Reform of Police of the Czech Republic, eGON project - a complex project of electronization of Public administration (Czech Point, ISDS, ZRSV - National registers.
Since May 2012 he has been Attorney at Law. He focuses on the field of medical law, criminal law, information technology law and compliance programs. Language skills: Czech, English.
